Anyone who has either served in the military or been a military family member, you know the USO has provides amazing services.
From offering a safe space in most major airports to providing phone service in deployed areas to care packages in mission zones around the world to entertainment for the troops while serving overseas, the USO provides an immeasurable service to those individuals and families who serve our country.
If you love the game of basketball then you have an admiration for Coach Pat Summitt. While we watched her win 1098 games in her career, we also watched her career cut short by Alzheimer’s Disease. She and her son Tyler set up the Pat Summitt Foundation to work to fight the disease that ultimately took her life. So along with 1000’s of others, we proudly say “We Back Pat!”
We love all dogs and so many need adoptive homes! Three of the greatest joy in our lives came from English Pointers — Jasmine, Kinsey, and Charlie (and now Ellie our “honorary Pointer”).
It is with this that we support the Pointer Rescue. This group of tireless volunteers facilitates the rescue of pointers from shelters and hunting plantations, especially those here in Georgia, to find foster, transport, and find adoptive homes for this amazing breed of dog.
